Biovita Puritan Bennett™ 840

Biovita Puritan Bennett™ 840

PB840 is mainly used for invasive mechanical assisted ventilation, with various ventilation modes including A/C, SIMV, SPONT, BILEVEL, etc. In addition to touch screen buttons, it can also be directly used for pre weaning respiratory function SPD tests, directly observing important pre weaning index references such as F/VT.

Monitoring data:

(1) Breathing types: control (C), assist (A), autonomous (S);

(2) Peak airway pressure (PPEAK);

(3) Mean airway pressure (PMEAN);

(4) Positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP);

(5) Respiratory ratio (I: E); Respiratory rate (f)

(6) Exhaled tidal volume (VTE); Minute ventilation volume (VETOT); T1/TTOT;

(8) Autonomous minute ventilation (VE SPONT)

Technical features:

(1) The PB840 ventilator contains two independent CPUs (central processing units), one responsible for the ventilator delivery system (BDU) and the other responsible for graphical user interface (GUI). Among them, BDU and CPU control the patient's breathing based on relevant settings and conduct extensive verification. The CPU of the GUI receives respiratory parameter settings and alarm settings, and monitors the coordination status between the ventilator and the patient. In addition, the CPU of the GUI is also responsible for confirming that the CPU master of the BDU is working properly and preventing synchronous paralysis of control and monitoring functions due to a single fault.

(2) By using the touch screen, keys, and buttons on the graphical interface, various parameters and operating modes of the ventilator can be set. The CPU and GUI process this information and store it in the ventilator's memory. The BDU and CPU use their stored information to control and monitor the flow of gas into and out of the patient.

Mechanical ventilation products with high precision and response speed are suitable for critically ill patients from newborns to adults. They not only provide sensitive and precise respiratory support, but also bring extraordinary comfort.

High performance, reliability, upgradability, and security make Puritan Bennett ™  The 840 ventilator has become the standard choice for many hospitals around the world. This ventilator has high cost-effectiveness, can help clinical doctors improve ventilation efficacy, and can be customized with advanced human-machine synchronization support technology
